North 58 offers regular wildlife trips in the Moray Firth including venturing along the coast to Burghead. Burghead is recognised locally as a hotspot for dolphin sightings so there's a chance, but no guarantee of seeing dolphins. Seals and porpoises are also regularly seen in the area. The occasional Minke Whale is also spotted in the summer months.

When first seen, Bow Fiddle Rock rock evokes a sense of wonder with it's steep folded sides and rock arch which resembles a fiddle bow tip (violin), hence the name Bow Fiddle Rock. This is a great location for a nice afternoon costal walk in the small fishing town of Portknockie. If you continue along the cliffside you will be brought down onto the soft sandy Cullen beach and golf course.

A great place to visit for a fun-filled family day out. Bring a picnic, or cook up a barbecue while the children have fun in the play area. Relax on the sandy beach, explore the sweet-smelling pinewood or watch out for local wildlife from our bird hide.
There is history here, too. A series of defence structures were built between Cullen Bay and Burghead Bay, through today's Roseisle and Lossie forests. On the beach at Roseisle you’ll find remnants of the anti-tank blocks and pillboxes.
